Who is responsible

What we use and why

We use the contact, account, delivery, billing, order and payment-status information needed to process purchases and support you. Our legal basis is performing your contract or taking steps you request before buying. Without essential details, we may be unable to fulfil an order.

We keep records required by tax, accounting, traceability and food-safety law. We may use order details to contact you about an affected product or recall. For enquiries, security, fraud prevention and disputes, we rely on legitimate interests, balanced against your rights.

Newsletter subscriptions use your consent. Unsubscribe through an email’s link or contact us. This does not stop essential order or safety messages. Optional analytics and advertising tracking require the applicable consent; simply browsing is not consent.

Our website also receives device, browser, IP address and browsing information. Essential processing supports shopping and security. Optional measurement and personalised advertising use consent where required. See our Cookies page and the Cookie preferences control in the footer.

Sharing and retention

Relevant information is handled by Shopify, payment providers, delivery services such as An Post, and providers supporting communications, search, reviews and administration, including Rapid Search and Judge.me. Authorities or professional advisers may receive information where legally required or necessary to protect rights.

Providers may process information outside the European Economic Area. Where required, transfers use an adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards, such as approved contractual clauses. Contact us for details of relevant safeguards.

We retain information only as needed for orders, support, legal record-keeping, product safety and legal claims. Marketing records are kept while you subscribe; limited suppression records may remain to respect an unsubscribe request. We restrict access and use appropriate security measures.

Shopify hosts our store and processes information to provide its services. Where enabled, its enhanced services use store activity for personalised experiences, advertising and analysis, and may involve providers outside your country. Shopify explains its own processing and safeguards in its Consumer Privacy Policy. You can also use Shopify’s privacy controls.

Your choices and rights

Subject to the legal conditions, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and object to direct marketing. You can withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.

Contact us to exercise your rights. We may reasonably verify your identity and normally respond within one month; we explain any lawful extension. You may complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie or your relevant supervisory authority.
