Kefirko Kombucha Starter (Organic) – 100ml
An organic starter culture for making fermented kombucha tea at home.
Product Information
Pack size: 100ml
Ingredients: Organic water, organic black tea, organic sugar and organic starter culture.
Preparation: For an initial batch, dissolve 50g sugar in 900ml tea prepared with 4g black tea. Cool fully, add 100ml starter in a glass jar, allow airflow and ferment at 22–27°C for 7–14 days. Retain the SCOBY and 100ml finished kombucha for the next batch.
Storage: Keep the unopened pack cool and dry. Use immediately after opening; follow the pack's best-before date.
Caution: Fermentation can produce small amounts of alcohol and histamine. Seek medical advice before serving to children or during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Open slowly because pressure may develop.
